The project "Problems of Recognition in Making Erasmus", PRIME, is an ESN (Erasmus Student Network) Research Project on recognition of courses taken abroad.
The Erasmus Student Charter (http://ec.europa.eu/education/erasmus/doc1057_en.htm) guarantees that, by signing a Learning Agreement prior to exchange, all course achievements have to be recognised by the home institution. Despite this right, surveys conducted by ESN in 2006 and 2009, showed that only two thirds of exchange students get full recognition at home.
PRIME aims at pointing out existing obstacles to student mobility and providing suggestions for improvements in order to facilitate student exchange. Your experience can help to improve the situation in the future. Please help us make a change by filling in this short questionnaire: http://www.prime.esn.org/content/questionnaire-students
